Hong Kong Sevens Tickets
I will long remember my first sports experience. I had never really been interested in sports at all, other than watching the Olympics on occasion. Nonetheless, I had won a pair of Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Tournament Tickets from a corporate function. My boyfriend convinced me to go with him rather than giving them away. He told me how much fun it would be and that year, they were even playing against New Zealand which happened to be where I was originally from.
Since I had received the Hong Kong Sevens Tickets, and not really cared about them at first, I had put them somewhere in my apartment, but of course when I tried looking for them after my boyfriend convinced me to go with him, I couldn't find them anywhere. I tried looking amongst my junk mail, and just about everywhere I could think of and then feared I might have subconsciously thrown them away. I felt so bad and didn't want to disappoint my already-excited boyfriend, so I went down to the stadium's box office and purchased a pair of new Hong Kong Sevens Tickets.
To my surprise, as soon as I got back home, I saw the original tickets sitting up on top of the microwave where I hang my keys. I felt so foolish, but now with 2 pairs of tickets I thought I could invite my sister and her husband. That way it would be even more fun.
Hong Kong Stadium was nice and large. I couldn't believe how big it was. The actual Rugby Tournament was pretty good, however I must admit that I'm still not really a sports fan. I am still really glad to have utilized my Hong Kong Sevens Tickets. We all had a great time. It was entertaining, a fun social activity, and we got plenty of delicious snacks and drinks at the stadium. I would definitely go again if the chance arose.
I am Not Sorry
Brian wanted to do something big for his dad for his birthday this year. He was nine years old and he was sick of giving his dad stupid kid things for his birthday. When he saw how excited his dad was when he read about the soccer game he knew just what to get for his dad.
Brian explained to his mother about getting rugby tickets so he could see the game with his dad. She thought it was a wonderful idea and called the ticket hotline for Brian.
"Oh, I see, thank you anyway," Brian's mother said and hung up. "I'm sorry dear but the tickets are sold out."
Brian was stunned. What would he do now?
The following day he was playing at his friend Robert's house. He overheard Robert's dad telling his mother about the tickets he got and wasn't it amazing that he actually got them? Brian peeked around the corner to see Robert's dad holding two tickets in his hand. Brian couldn't believe it! He had to get those tickets!
As he played with Robert, Brian kept making excuses to go to different parts of the house. Finally he saw him put the tickets on the kitchen counter and leave. Without thinking about it, Brian dashed in, grabbed the tickets and stuffed them into his pocket. He did it!
Later that day, Brian's family had a birthday party for his father. Brian pulled the tickets out of his pocket and presented them to his father with a huge smile. This would be the best gift ever. His father took the tickets and looked at them. His father's face fell from a smile to a frown.
"The Ultimate Strippers Show-Down?" He read.
The next day Brian went to work on his month long punishment. "I am not sorry but I do wish I'd looked at the darn tickets." Brian scooped another pile of dog poop into the bag and sighed.
